“Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.” – Titus 2
A brand new feeling came into our lives as we stared at something pretty special – two pink lines. After five months of being married, my husband and I were expecting a baby. Both of us nineteen years old. We were beyond excited.
Born at 39 weeks + 1 day, Oliver Nicholas was born on November 24th, 2015. He changes so fast just like the other babies I’ve heard about. Crazy. Each week, he looks more and more like a small human. Curious to see what he will look like as man. But I can wait awhile longer! He can stay a baby for a long time still. That’d be okay.
We live in the southeastern corner of South Dakota. My husband is an electrician assistant and I just recently left my job to stay at home. Our home, to be exact. We are new homeowners and I try to spend my days learning, feeding my baby, finding creative things to do, keeping the house and doing the dishes, trying new recipes, doing the dishes again, feeding our baby again and decorating the lovely space we call home.
This page is meant as a place to document this journey and share all the wonderful things I learn. And hopefully some nice fellowship with other mamas!
